Tiello has partnered with an established Multi-Family General Contractor in the Newport Beach, CA area on their search for a Assistant Project Manager to oversee the new construction of Multi-Family Mixed-Use Developments (150 units).

The Project Manager will be the company representative and will serve as the company's point of contact both with the client and with the construction team when required. You will engage in and influence the safety culture and have the authority to make decisions on the General Contractor's behalf about such items as cost and schedule.

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (2 Years)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Oversee & Manage the project schedules and budgets
• Oversee, Develop and Maintain a good relationship with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Manage project deliverables
• Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of Multifamily/Mixed-Use construction experience
• Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and design consultants.
• Procore experience required
• BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
